Due to the bad weather forecast for tomorrow, we had to make a difficult decision to cancel our Sports Day tomorrow. Heavy rain is forecast in the morning, and rain is forecast to continue through the morning. The covered area at the stadium is not big enough to hold all our students and staff, so those on the grassed area would get very wet – not an option we could consider.

A huge amount of work has gone into the planning of this event, and many of our staff feel disappointed. We know that our students were also looking forward to the event, so will also be very disappointed.

Tomorrow will be a normal school day for Y7 – 9 and Y12. There will be a lunch service, but due to the circumstances this may be a little different from usual.
