Our successful Year 9 Tenner Challenge Teams were visited by two industry speakers, who were keen to congratulate and commend the students on their hard work and determination through the recent challenge.
After a successful two weeks, the 5 teams were able to raise lots of money as well as gain real life business experiences from their time throughout the challenge.
During our celebration assembly, all 28 students received certificates and highlights from their trading days were show. We were fortunate to have Nick Dines, Founder and Managing Director of Belgrave PR & Local Councillor (Enfield Chase Ward) and Oris Ikomi, Head of Membership at NACUE (National Association for College & University Entrepreneurs) come in and speak to the Year Group. Both gentleman spoke about their personal journeys and inspired the girls to strive to achieve their dreams.
A huge congratulations goes out to the five teams for their hard work, commitment and positive teamwork. They all did a fantastic job at selling products and across the five teams, a total of £1243.16 is being donated to their chosen Charities, which include: Unicef, Cancer Research, Downright Excellent, The A21 Campaign & Comic Relief.
Sensational Six finished top with their tasty Patties & Hot Chicken Wings, making a total of £1002.23. Well Done Girls.
Thank you to Nick Dines & Oris Ikomi for coming in to speak to the girls and we look forward to welcoming you into school once again in the near future.
