St. Anne's Got Talent - Successful Event

Friday 11th July 2014 – 7pm
Upper Site.

It was described as “spectacular,” and “the best talent show ever.” Our audience were blown away with the extraordinary talent, and an enjoyable evening was had by all.

Over 40 Acts were auditioned, across all years and the talent and efforts of many acts, made the choosing the finalists, extremely hard. In the Final, 12 Student Acts were chosen to go through, with two additional acts by members of staff.

Finalists ranged from singers, dancers, musicians and comedians. All acts were fantastic, and gave up endless time and effort to ensure a great show was put on.

St. Anne’s Got Talent was organised with Friends of St. Anne’s as our first fundraising event to support the New Sixth Form Centre Appeal. All proceeds and money raised from the event will help us to start raising funds for this exciting new build, which is due to start in the new academic year.

It was fantastic to see so many students, families, staff and friends there supporting the event and all of the finalists. We had our very own charismatic judging panel and comperes for the evening, providing comments and additional entertainment, and Refreshments, BBQ Food and Raffle Tickets were also available to purchase.
